Terms of Service
Welcome to Achoo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Achoo iOS application and the achooapp.co.uk website (collectively, the "Service").
By downloading or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
Achoo is an application designed to provide pollen forecasts, symptom tracking, and related insights. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use to help you monitor and understand environmental factors that may affect your hay fever.
Not Medical Advice: Achoo is an informational tool, not a medical device. The forecasts, insights, and symptom tracking provided by the Service are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician regarding a medical condition.
2. User Accounts
To use certain features, such as cross-device syncing of your symptom diary, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service's servers or networks.
- Scrape, extract, or redistribute our pollen data for commercial purposes.
4. Intellectual Property
All content, design, graphics, compilation, magnetic translation, digital conversion, and other matters making up the Service are protected under applicable copyrights, trademarks, and other proprietary rights. The copying, redistribution, use, or publication by you of any such matters or any part of the Service is strictly prohibited.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Achoo and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes within the application or via email.
